For those of you that haven’t heard of Computer Music Magazine it was first launched in 1998 spurred by the excitement around the music production capabilities of desktop computers and sadly came to an end in November 2024 with 340 issues to its name.

These magazine were always filled with production tips, tricks, interviews, reviews among other things & also new free plug-ins and samples.

They also boasted a full suite of plugins for producers to enjoy.

Even though the magazine has sadly come to an end you can still get most of the plugins and samples from every issue and the entire plugins suite for free!

Just head over to File Silo and have a dig through the issues.

When you click on an individual issue you will be greeted with Video Tutorials (Masterclasses, Sound Design, Synths Tutorials Etc..) Software (CM Plugin Suite & Software Related To The Issue) & finally sample packs!

This is an absolutely amazing resource for music producers especially those starting out who want to have some top tier software and samples without breaking the bank.
